winecountrywoodturners013009.gif Treasury Report

I’ll be turning over the treasury oversight to Geoff Bolt, who stepped forward to offer that helpful service to the club. I’ve enjoyed assisting in this role for the past two years but appreciate Geoff taking it on so that I can focus my limited time on developing the programs.

Since it is year’s end, it’s time to start thinking about renewing your membership. I’ve received a few early renewals but the rest of you will need to forward your payments to Geoff. He’ll soon be getting the information to you for how he’d like to handle this.

The special December raffle of Cindy Drozda’s pieces brought $110 to the treasury! Thanks to each of you for supporting our club through purchasing of raffle tickets (and donating raffle items). This, and the membership dues, are the two primary methods we have for raising funds to support our programs. We’re seeing program costs increasing and so far we are staying abreast of them.

Enjoy the Holidays and I’ll see you all in 2008.
